SHALCOMB STREET | SW10
The plan of this traditional Victorian terraced house was reconfigured to suit the needs of a young family. Views around the house were very important to the client, especially to the lower ground floor kitchen and family room.
Our response was to create a void in the more formal ground floor, and punch a new window for the rear study to create visual links between the main spaces. To give a spacious feel to the lower ground floor kitchen, storage and services are all integrated into a wall of doors pushed away from the centre of the space.
